The following screen shots show setting up Outlook Express to download your mail from Google.

Click on the Mail tab. Here, because I don't use Outlook Express, no mail accounts had been setup. On your machine you probably already have one (which reads mail in the mailbox on your current ISP). In any case, choose Add and then Mail ...

Here (where it says Display name) you enter your name you want it to appear on the From line of your eMails. Don't just put your first name, because spammers often do that. Put your entire name, or even something like "Wren McMains at KGC", but avoid using special characters ...

Here you enter your @KGC.cc address. If you have also been assigned an @KGC.cc nickname, you can use that instead of your user name, but always be consistent ...

On this screen, enter pop.gmail.com as your incoming mail server and smtp.gmail.com as your outgoing mail server ...

On this screen enter your KGC.cc username followed by the @ sign and kgc.cc, your new password, and check the remember password box ...

After the step above, it will say you are finished. But you're not. Go back to the mail tab. Select the pop.gmail.com account and click on Properties ...

That will get you to the screen below. (Note exactly how this is General tab is filled in, later you want to select the mail account for your current ISP and make sure the General tab of that account is filled in exactly the same way. Then people will only see one eMail address, your @KGC.cc address.)

Next click on the Servers tab, and check the box that says "My server requires authentication" ...

On the Advanced tab you need to check the two boxes that say "This server requires a secure connection (SSL)" and change the Server Port numbers. The outgoing mail (SMTP) port is 465 and the incoming mail (POP) port is 995.

Don't forget to go back to the General Tab of your Mail connection to your current ISP and change the Name and eMail address fields to match what you just setup.
Once you've setup your eMail program, you should be able to download any eMail that is in your KGC.cc inbox (see example below). After downloading, when you refresh your web browser, the Inbox should be empty ... the mail will have moved to the archive (the All Mail folder) ...
